BRS pays 1% even if you contribute nothing. The next 4% requires you to contribute.

• Legacy High-3 does not get the BRS match or continuation pay.
• Set the percentage on TSP.gov. Login.gov. Confirm it on the LES.
• Name a TSP beneficiary. TSP does not read the will or the DD 93.

A cash payout at the mid-career window. You have to request it.

• CY26 is at least 7 and not more than 12 years from the PEBD.
• Check CY27 on that same page before you brief next year. The window moved in the text.
• Army Guard on that page means Title 10 or full-time Title 32. A drill weekend does not qualify by itself.
