TRICARE Reserve Select covers medical. It does not quietly add dental. The TRICARE Dental Program is a different contract, a different enrollment, and a different line on the LES. Soldiers who 'got TRICARE done' still walk into a civilian dentist as self-pay.

Start at TRICARE.mil TDP. United Concordia administers it. DEERS has to be clean. FEDVIP dental is the retiree/federal-civilian product — do not enroll there because a search result ranked it first.

Finish until the allotment is real

Enrollment windows follow status: new eligibility, qualifying life event, annual period. If you missed yours, you are uninsured until the next lawful door. Confirmation email plus the next LES is the only done-state.
