Active-duty TRICARE — one page

• You are not TRS and you are not AGR. Title 10 active duty must enroll Prime, Prime Remote, or overseas Prime based on the duty station. Zero premium for the sponsor.
• DEERS has to read active duty first. Then Plan Finder on the ZIP — Prime Service Area, or live AND work more than 50 miles / one-hour drive (TPR), or Prime Overseas if the station is overseas.
• Enroll in milConnect → Benefits → BWE. Remote and overseas are often phone, mail, or a TRICARE Area Office if BWE will not take it.
• Family: DEERS first (newborn 90 days stateside / 120 overseas), then 90 days to change auto-enrolled Prime or Select. Open Season does not apply to you, the sponsor. PCS is a separate clock.
• Teeth: clinic first, then ADDP if referred or remote. Family is TDP, not ADDP. MHS GENESIS is the clinic portal. SGLI and TSP are different doors.
