  • 2026 published premium: $57.88 member / $286.66 family. Rank does not change the premium. Deductibles do.
  • You generally do not wait for Open Season. Recut 21 Sep 2026: Open Season is Nov. 9–Dec. 8, 2026 (effective Jan. 1, 2027) for Prime/Select — not TRS. Cancel TRS and you often cannot reenroll for 12 months.
  • Recut from TRICARE.mil: you do not qualify on active-duty orders for more than 30 days, on TAMP, in the IRR, or if FEHB-eligible (through 1 Jan 2030).
  • Official door only. Nobody should collect an SSN after formation.
