Open myPay and fix direct deposit

LES, W-4, allotments, TSP from the paycheck. mypay.dfas.mil. Login.gov or CAC. A bad routing number is how the first paycheck vanishes. I will not file it.

   Sign in with CAC or Login.gov

   DS Logon is on the way out. Keep backup codes. myPay is DFAS, not milConnect, not TSP.gov — three logins.

2. 02

   Confirm direct deposit and the W-4

   Routing and account on the first LES. State of legal residence is not a vibe. Allotments for SGLI, TSP, and debts show here. Screenshot anything wrong before you call DFAS.

3. 03

   Retirees: this becomes DFAS retired pay

   After retirement, myPay still shows the retired LES. TSP withdrawals stay on TSP.gov. Gray-area members do not have a retired LES until HRC / DFAS processes the retired-pay application.
