NGB-22, NGB-23, and the DD-214 you actually have

If you are still in, pull the points statement
NGB-23 is the Retirement Points Accounting Management print. Army: IPPS-A inquiry. Some states still run RPAM. Recut from National Archives: NPRC does not have records of members still in the National Guard.

Title 10 periods get a DD-214
Recut from National Archives: a Report of Separation is generally issued for active duty or at least 90 consecutive days of active duty training. Weekend drill does not print a DD-214. Ask personnel before you out-process the orders.

Leaving the Guard: NGB-22
NGB Form 22 is the Report of Separation and Record of Service for Army and Air National Guard. Request it from the state before you clear. After the jacket moves, eVetRecs on archives.gov is the door. VA.gov military service records hands you there.

Keep a copy that is not only in a portal
Home-loan COE, GI Bill, and a civilian HR shop will all ask. A missing NGB-23 is how gray-area math goes sideways ten years later.
