How to sign up for VALife (service-disabled veterans life insurance)
Service-disabled veterans can apply for VALife online. It is a different product from the SGLI conversion clock. Premiums go through Pay.gov.

VALife is not VGLI. If you are getting out, the SGLI conversion clock is VGLI. If you are already out with a service-connected disability, VALife is a different guaranteed-acceptance policy. Apply on VA.gov. Pay the premium on Pay.gov. Do not mix the doors and do not pay an invoice that did not come from those two sites.
