Dental, vision, and life are three doors.
This is the map, not a fourth enrollment. TDP, FEDVIP vision, and SGLI each have their own walkthrough. Medical (TRS / Prime) does not enroll any of them.

Name the status first
Active duty teeth are the clinic / ADDP. Selected Reserve buys TDP. Gray area and many retirees buy FEDVIP dental on BENEFEDS. VA outpatient dental is a limited class. The which-dental checker is the filter.

Dental enrollment is not inside TRS or Prime
Open the TDP walkthrough if you are drilling. Open FEDVIP only if the dental tree sent you to BENEFEDS. Do not buy both.

Vision is BENEFEDS, not milConnect
Routine glasses and contacts sit in FEDVIP vision. Open Season is its own calendar. The vision walkthrough is the click path.

Life insurance is SGLI now, VGLI on a clock
Amount and beneficiary in milConnect. After ETS the 240-day conversion clock is real. Open the SGLI / VGLI walkthrough — do not treat this page as that enrollment.
